Petroleum residue processing complex, LLC “LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez” (Kstovo Refinery)
Nizhny Novgorod Refinery in the town of Kstovo 18 away from Nizhny Novgorod, on the right bank of the Volga. Since 2002, the plant has joint LUKOIL Company and was renamed as LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez. At present, LUKOIL-Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez ranks third in Russia and first among the refineries owned by LUKOIL in terms of the volume of primary crude treatment – 18M metric tons per year. It is one of the most advanced national refineries with efficiently arranged processes and high added value. In 2018, LUKOIL started construction of deep crude oil processing facilities at Kstovo Refinery. With the complex startup, the company will be able to build up the oil conversion ratio at the Kstovo Refinery to 99%.
