History
The translation services company Helix Translate was launched in 2003, supplying language services to the St Petersburg Marine Facade and the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg projects. This project included dredging in the Gulf of Finland, deposition, construction of a new cruise port and transportation infrastructure improvement. It was followed by large international events and exhibitions. The Company’s first experience in implementation of large-scale projects was in providing comprehensive linguistic services for the Russian Railways and a Swiss company Amberg Engineering, which were engaged in construction of tunnels for a combined motor and rail road in Sochi. Having gained immense translation experience in geology, civil engineering, risk management and transport & infrastructure planning industries, and having gathered the top-level translation experts, Helix Translate entered the translation market segment in petrochemicals, offshore drilling, and hydrocarbons transportation.
Philosophy
The main philosophy of the company is working with narrowly specialized team of professional translators, organized to address the target requirements of the large, long-term projects.
Management & personnel
The top management of the company is composed of experienced translators who have gained project management experience during administration of large-scale projects, including the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and APEC. Professional requirements of the company staff include technical education in the focus area and work experience, gained on similar projects. Translators undergo multi-stage selection and are properly compensated for their expert work.

At present, Helix Translate Company participates in projects on construction and operation of various refineries, offshore drilling, dredging, construction of ports and docks and hydrocarbon transportation systems.

In March 2003, Helix Translate enters the translation serivices market with the St Petersburg Marine Facade and the Passenger Port of St Petersburg projects.
Since 2008, Helix Translate had become an active participant of the St Petersburg International Econonomic Forum, Sochi Investment Forum and APEC.
In 2010, Helix Translate started providing serivices for Sochi-2014 Winter Olympic Games related projects.
In 2015, Helix Translate became a linguistic serivices provider for the Omsk Oil Refinery reconstruction project.
